Overall, i think our coursework went well. I think we both work well as part of a team by contributing equally to all tasks like planning, organising, shooting and editing. This is shown in our time keeping skills, as our research, video and evaluation were all handed in before the deadlines.
The things we think went well during the task is the print work, as it consistantly follows our set theme of America. We also like the way it goes against the pop genre, but still keeps some of its conventions. We're also proud of our video, as the narrative made it more fun and interesting than a performance based video. However, if we were to do this again, we would improve vastly on the lip syncing, as it was prominantly picked out during our audience feedback, if we had more time, we would have reshot the whole video. Although most of our editing works well, we would improve on some of it, like people walking out of shots, something which really brought our video down. Then again, we are proud of our new found abilities on using hardware like Final Cut and Photoshop, things that will come in handy in the future. Another aspect of our project we like is all the props used, as without them, our video would be boring.

Evaluation Feedback - Emma
A great start Emma!
Question 1: A very good commentary - well done! Good reference to real media texts.
Question 2: Good on branding definitions and good analysis of the 3 products.
Question 3: Good use of graphs and charts
Try to be specific about how you used your audience research to create your final products.
Question 4: Good focus on advantages of the technologies used.
It would be good to add more detail on how you actually used the software - e.g. manipulation of image sin Photoshop and Indesign and how you created certain effects in Final Cut.
Evaluate the technologies used - good and bad points - created problems or allowed you to be creative? Easy or difficult to use? Did you skills develop over time?
Well done!

Question 4: I think the problems with the Chroma-key function in In design was due to the lighting effecting your models and props - but it is fiddly!
