Planning: Applying for Permission/ Copyright

The track we are going to use for our project is Hollywood by Marina and the Diamonds. After finding out she is signed to 'Chop Shop Records', i went onto their site to find out contact details to ask whether we are able to use this copyrighted song for out project.

On the website, i found the email address for contacting the record company, this is the email which i sent.

Within the email, i asked whether we had permission to use the song without asking for copyrighting laws, as we don't want to remake the song as our project won't be released into the public or intended for serious use.
