We created two mood boards to express our ideas about our music video and our brand image of our Artist. We going to make our music video based on the negative views of America, and buy this we will show our audience the amazing glamorous location in America, and the celebrities, and the negatives of them.
That is why I have designed two Mood boards, to get the idea of the colour themes we would need and which location shot we would like to have to use when we doing green scene. The american flag inspired us to use the three main colours; red, blue and white, and because our song is about 'Hollywood' so it was necessary to have the Hollywood sign on the Hills included in our Ideas (mood board). We also included pictures of time square, Statue of Liberty, Mc Donald and a train in black and white. these pictures gives us the inspiration of what we should use in our establish shot even though the Statue of Liberty is in New York, it is still part of America, and would be necessary to include it in our mood board. We included the black and white train because of our opening scene, to give us an insight of how the train looked liked in movies before the improvement of colour technology.
The second mood board is there to give us the inspiration of the colour and image of our brand image also super stars brand image in America, how they are seen in America. Our brand image for out artist is; fun, bright/intelligent , youthful and quirky. Something that is unique, and different compared to the celebrities out there.
